Annasara Lundgren is a Swedish neoclassical singer songwriter and a classically trained violinist based in Malmö, where she also studied music. After freelancing as a symphonic and chamber musician for almost ten years, she moved to Sälshög in the countryside (one hour from Malmö), to study full-time classical composition for a year. That is where she wrote the music to the album ”Songs from Sälshög'', released in 2020. Annasara works thematically and follows quite a traditional form in her songs, with verse, chorus and bridge, fused with big influences from classical music, especially the French impressionistic era.
Her music is dreamy, shifting from minimalistically simple to suddenly complex, from light and pure to dark ambiences; continuously through her own unique tonality.
Her recordings are all acoustic and dynamic, and she records piano, violin and vocals in her own home studio, inviting her friends and colleagues to record additional instruments when needed.
She’s also released an EP with jazz vibes (”Self love”, 2019) and an album with Children’s music (”till dig som är barn”, 2018). The planned release for her full length album ”Dear Body”, is set for 2022.
