One listen, and you’ll understand why Anni Piper is known as The First Lady Of The Blues. A singer, bass guitarist and composer, Piper won an Australian Blues Music Award early in her career. A contract with Blues Leaf Records (Janiva Magness, Albert Castiglia) allowed her to move to the USA and become immersed in the blues scene. Piper is currently keeping it weird in Portland OR. Her latest album ‘Blow Up Doll’ will be released April 2020.
