Leading UK guitarist Ant is “a game changer” and “an innovator” according to The Guardian. His upcoming ninth album &#39;Unified Theories&#39; features ten original compositions and introduces a brand new ensemble featuring <a href="spotify:artist:39xJEa28eWbVz5f3FSZLp5" data-name="Will Vinson">Will Vinson</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:6oXieOD3dHfCCmmy96W2eR" data-name="Gwilym Simcock">Gwilym Simcock</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6SW6dyOPmcKpO0ZwiUDZj5" data-name="Orlando Le Fleming">Orlando Le Fleming</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5w3ZDahdGNLh4bs9GM4Ivx" data-name="Ernesto Simpson">Ernesto Simpson</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:1zVYx4cMHEkVqbkvEt2be4" data-name="Brigitte Beraha">Brigitte Beraha</a> sings self-penned lyrics on three tracks.

His previous album ‘Ensconced’ (August 2024) was the first collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:1zVYx4cMHEkVqbkvEt2be4" data-name="Brigitte Beraha">Brigitte Beraha</a>, featuring Ant playing acoustic guitar.

Before that came ‘Same Moon in the Same World’ (November 2022), now an ongoing project with brilliant saxophonist/composer <a href="spotify:artist:4MrFF8cBU4dYrJsCeBdNrZ" data-name="Alex Hitchcock">Alex Hitchcock</a>. Recorded across multiple continents, bridging the gap between London, Amsterdam and New York, it brings together a stellar cast: vibraphonist <a href="spotify:artist:5OSxNS2UGq8dW38T57o78l" data-name="Joel Ross">Joel Ross</a>, bassists <a href="spotify:artist:3ItwOheFhoNjZRCpnY5O9I" data-name="Linda May Han Oh">Linda May Han Oh</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2NVNbP5qYO9vHhOPGGuPJV" data-name="Ben Williams">Ben Williams</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3bYKDQEArrrYpRnGYMNvIN" data-name="Jasper Høiby">Jasper Høiby</a>, and drummers <a href="spotify:artist:76q6tJ5SRqReZwwCfdzr4I" data-name="Jeff Ballard">Jeff Ballard</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3xidVCWg60r8Wdm6g9VCux" data-name="Kendrick Scott">Kendrick Scott</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1D9VSAtsu84sjmeTihCQn0" data-name="Sun-Mi Hong">Sun-Mi Hong</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0wTdAqanDZiEonTBUmBSQh" data-name="Eric Harland">Eric Harland</a>.

In 2013 Ant’s debut &#39;Entanglement&#39; was released, followed by &#39;Zero Sum World&#39; (2015) and &#39;<a href="spotify:album:4y9fcBi0mJ1iyBfb92lDzN" data-name="Life I Know">Life I Know</a>&#39; (2018) - described as “career-defining”. It achieved 5 star reviews, made numerous “best of 2018&#34; lists, received worldwide airplay and was added to numerous editorial playlists on Spotify. 2020 saw the release of Ant’s 4th album &#39;<a href="spotify:album:2Bx8kQQEsxETeroy7Y0S0D" data-name="The Sleeper Wakes">The Sleeper Wakes</a>&#39;.

Ant is the “L” in <a href="spotify:artist:07PCosYxHKZTbA5H2opRdD" data-name="Trio HLK">Trio HLK</a> who record/tour with <a href="spotify:artist:6MYiQGy8MIcBps6Ez0IQA8" data-name="Evelyn Glennie">Evelyn Glennie</a>.

Guitar magazines often feature Ant, recently including him in a list of “10 Astounding Virtuosos”.
