Ante is a reggae artist from southern Sweden, now living in France, where he plays with The Tighters—a band dedicated to classic, old school roots reggae. With Ante’s own songs at the center, the group aims to bring back the warm, organic sound of early reggae, with steady rhythms, deep bass, and conscious lyrics.
Ante started his musical journey in the early 2000s with Rubachica Band. After releasing the EP "Vi slår en sjua" with O-Hund, the two formed Lide Najs, a mix of reggae, hip hop, and funk. Since moving to France, Ante has continued making music and building new collaborations with other artists and producers—now mainly through The Tighters, where his songwriting and love for roots reggae come together.
