I-king is a reggae/dancehall vocalist and producer, born and grown in Sweden, now a citizen of Mozambique. I-king was active on the dancehall scene in Sweden from 2013 through 2016 with singles as 'Jag är ett Lejon' and 'Hur Svårt Kan Det Va' (featuring Dani M) and two albums released via the Stockholm-based label Stadsbild. In 2017 I-king moved to Mozambique and started his own recording studio, thereby shifting focus towards third-party productions; recording and producing other artists while starting up his own label: Bombocloot Records. In 2024 I-king produced the Black Banner Riddim and invited more artists to feature, from Mozambique and Sweden, resulting in an album with 11 different songs, all voicing the same "riddim" instrumental, that was launched in june 2024. In 2025 I-king released his first new music video in nine years, for the single 'Ton Around'. The track makes part of the upcoming album 'Viking', set to release on the 27th of july in 2025. I-king's third album in swedish is scheduled for 2026.
