Anthar Kharana born in 1977, is a native of Ocaña in northern Colombia, a music producer and composer, sound healer and ceremonial leader, founder of schools of ancestral wisdom in Colombia and the UK. Anthar brings over two decades of experience in ancestral healing and spiritual work.
Guided from a young age by wise elders in his homeland, Anthar has spent the last 23 years travelling through 16 countries - particularly active in the UK - where he has led countless retreats, courses, ceremonies, and sound healing experiences. His practice blends traditional Colombian shamanic wisdom, storytelling, and sacred sound, creating a space for deep personal transformation and inner remembrance.
Anthar is the founder of Escuela Ancestral Colombia, Tribal Sound Healing, and the most recent Kharana Sound Healing Academy both in Colombia and the UK. He also co-directed for 9 years the ANSU School of Sound Healing in Scotland and is the founder of the Ancestral Pathways School in England where he currently leads different yearly programs of study.
At the heart of his work is the belief that true healing begins by listening to the stories we carry and reclaiming the wisdom of those who walked before us. Through ancestral knowledge and vibrational medicine, Anthar offers a grounded, sacred space for healing, reconnection, and spiritual awakening.
