Antistrophe, a melodic death metal band from Istanbul, is the culmination of the musical journey of three friends for over a decade; Barış "Kuzu" Tanyeri (Vocals & Guitars), Gani Eren Akça (Drums & Bass), and Çağlan Çınar Dilek (Guitars). They have rocked venues and released singles together before making up their minds to come together to bring to fruition what they have been working on for a long time. Antistrophe, therefore, is both the onset of a new project and also the recuperation of their everlasting passion after a hiatus, which was the result of disillusionment and personal disagreements. After their first EP, "Hyperborea", the band released "Simul Incipit Ipse" as an LP, which was completed after long efforts, and continues on its way.
