An active concert pianist and respected music educator, Antonio Pompa-Baldi has balanced his career between touring internationally and teaching at the Cleveland Institute of Music. A native of Foggia, Pompa-Baldi has long maintained a connection to Italy as the founder of the summer music camp, Todi International Music Masters, and through recording Italian music, such as his 2018 disc on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Steinway+%26+Sons%22">Steinway & Sons</a>, Napoli. Yet Pompa-Baldi began his career on the international stage, winning prizes at the 1998 Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud Competition in Paris, the 1999 Cleveland International Piano Competition, and the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. He has appeared with major orchestras on five continents, notably performing <a href="spotify:artist:0Kekt6CKSo0m5mivKcoH51">Rachmaninov</a>'s complete piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also given master classes as an honorary guest professor at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. As a recording artist, Pompa-Baldi has released the complete piano works of <a href="spotify:artist:5ihY290YPGc3aY2xTyx7Gy">Grieg</a>, as well as CDs of <a href="spotify:artist:0WiK9IsQEQEuIQ1iDxvuPg">Hummel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2UqjDAXnDxejEyE0CzfUrZ">Schumann</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5wTAi7QkpP6kp8a54lmTOq">Brahms</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6VqbzLwDT1yDg7ghR4jKyL">Rheinberger</a> on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Centaur%22">Centaur</a>, and The Rascal and the Sparrow, an album of piano arrangements of songs by <a href="spotify:artist:4IAWVxo2fpTBPn6k7GZ3eY">Francis Poulenc</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1WPcVNert9hn7mHsPKDn7j">Édith Piaf</a> for <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Steinway+%26+Sons%22">Steinway & Sons</a>.
