Antony & Cleopatra are the product of a pop writing session gone astray into deep electronic / dance territory. The London-based duo are comprised of pop veterans "Antony" (Alexander Burnett, Australian songwriter, producer & <a href="spotify:artist:1uF4cReE3ePCZK1oCyCYJI" data-name="Sparkadia">Sparkadia</a> frontman) & "Cleopatra" (Anita Blay, UK songwriter, formerly <a href="spotify:artist:46T4LCSOuBRamCrwUCHgJ9" data-name="Cocknbullkid">Cocknbullkid</a>).
Kicking off in 2014, they have since partnered with <a href="spotify:artist:3SwgftmsT5rVepCSSco3ZR" data-name="Motez">Motez</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0cjANFdMCgGD2q55ME1iyt" data-name="Lancelot">Lancelot</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6tCJN1fQNdFCEaOa8Da9Wf" data-name="Jaded">Jaded</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1wqW0IQWC7V7jktcjVHID6" data-name="Black Caviar">Black Caviar</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7eonsju0gRRDsBvySAYDiY" data-name="Nicky Night Time">Nicky Night Time</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1WGWUsR3u4DpQEaE8zWwcr" data-name="Sammy Bananas">Sammy Bananas</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:3cIXmCH7iNcslTbwrwS7zy" data-name="Moon Boots">Moon Boots</a>. Their collab with dance producer Motez spawned <a href="spotify:track:7FGjxFaJwck0kWYCj2LPcY" data-name="The Future">The Future</a>, which achieved gold status & 16M streams on Spotify alone.
However it’s their solo material that sets them apart: experimental jams such as Sirens & Take Me solidified their musical landscape, while hits <a href="spotify:album:2uwI08NrwAxyIEx2IKLioF" data-name="Dust">Dust</a> & <a href="spotify:album:53oUHhoWcKZdfagMD3xVhX" data-name="Twitch">Twitch</a> garnered love from triple j & fans alike.
In 2017 they were invited to tour with <a href="spotify:artist:11gWrKZMBsGQWmobv3oNfW" data-name="Alison Wonderland">Alison Wonderland</a>, performed at Australia’s biggest festival Splendour in the Grass, & played with Riton & Kahlo.
