“A lovely, languid set of travelling songs.” Jude Rogers, The Guardian
Antony Hurley's second album, 'Howl For More', expands upon the sonic landscapes first explored in his debut, 'Quiet Rooms'.
Recorded in fragments over a year of travel, ‘Howl For More’ captures the fluidity and evolution of Antony’s music and storytelling. During the recording process Antony journeyed through new landscapes spanning the Baja desert, the Italian south and his home county of Kent, England. In turn his songwriting grew more expansive and ambitious, blending intricate guitar and banjo work with a broader range of influences.
The result is a sound that feels both spontaneous and complex. ‘Howl For More’ deepens the introspective yet outward-looking nature of Antony’s songwriting and captures a special year of change and travel in his life.
