ANXTON

ANXTON is a black alternative artist from the Canadian city of Toronto and has lived in Vancouver BC for the entirety of his life. ANXTON has experimented with multiple genres such as Pop Punk, Punk, Hardcore, Ska & more. He has expressed different struggles & emotions, both positive & negative in his music, all in which are personal to him.

“I have definitely been through a lot in my life, I feel like when you listen to my artwork, you’re not only hearing something good, but you’re also getting a piece of me.”

ANXTON has always left himself open to vulnerability, despite what people may say or think about him, he has the courage to stand in the face of adversary and express what he believes through expressive songwriting.

“I grew up listening to hardcore punk & ska, the cool kids in school never knew what kind of music I was listening to, they often seen me as an all-around individual who just had a love for music.”

The song “Today” is the ultimate Pop Punk singalong anthem, it’s the perfect balance of humor, tenderness & introspective, wrapped in a rhythmic palette.

I want to change the way people listen to Punk music, my goal is to inspire other black alternative artists across the globe to create space within the community.
