Aphid Moon is the project of Psychedelic Trance maestro Jules Hamer from the UK.
With a career spanning back to the mid-nineties he has released music on a constellation of some of the most influential Psytrance labels including Dragonfly, Nano Records, Flying Rhino, Twisted Records and T.I.P. He has also performed at pretty much every major global event, released four solo albums, and had a collaboration project with Dick Trevor as AMD - culminating in their Big Fish album of 2007 which is widely considered to be one of the best full-on Psytrance albums ever written. Since 2010 he has been releasing music on his own label, Aphid Records, on which his fourth album "Gravity Wave" dropped in September 2019.
Jules is responsible for the creation of some of the most original acid-drenched Psychedelic Trance that dance floors the world over have had the privilege to hear, and is uncompromising when it comes to keeping his sound fresh and searching for new non-formulaic approaches to the creative process. His new material will be debuting throughout 2019 on Aphid Records, including tracks from his latest collaboration project Flying Sorcerers with UK artist Hypnocoustics.
