Once named the saviors of melodic death metal by Metal Hammer, APHYXION are not ones to succumb to genre definitions, and through the past couple of years the quintet has kept perfecting and pushing their sound even further away from their death metal heritage.
The release of their third full-length album ‘Void’ in 2019, marked the switch from death metal towards a more contemporary metalcore sound, creating something that elevated the band to a new level. Streaming more than 4 million times across streaming platforms, supporting heavy giants such as Metallica, Soilwork, Soulfly and playing over 100 shows all over Europe, these five young guys are slowly but steadily moving their way to the top.
