Rod A.D.F fell in love with reggae music aged 15 when he first set ears upon the tune entitled: "Dangerous - Conroy Smith" Since that day many years ago, Jah works has been at the forefront and focus of all that is Rod A.D.F.
Rod A.D.F began composing DUB music back in 1991, working with long time friends: Richard Hamburger (Mystical Warrior) Andrew Hobbs (Errol de General) and James Nicholl (Brother James) in Southend-On-Sea, Essex, U.K. A true ambassador of Reggae Music, Rod A.D.F has produced and supplied music for the likes of Jah Shaka (U.K) Jah Tubby's (U.K) King David Warriors (Italy) Iration Steppers (U.K) to name just a few!
Also having worked and continues to work with vocal artists such as Lee Scratch Perry (R.I.P) Danny Red, El Indio, Eek-a-Mouse, Max Romeo, Paul Fox, Johnny Clarke, Doniki - R.I.P and many more.....
A.D.F's 1st Commercial Release was in the year 2003 on his own Record Labael "MessenJah Music Records" a 12" Vinyl (A) Love Jah And Live/A.D.F Kenny Knotts /// (B) Riddim Wise feat Prince Allah
Between 2004 and 2010, A.D.F worked predominately with Ministry Of Dub Records, producing and performing with "Jah Lion Sound System" in the U.K and Europe..
From 2010 - Present Day.
A.D.F rebuilt Apocolypse Studio and began recording with a new insight into live elements of music... working with The Messenjah Music Players Bongo Sean, Mark Lah, Singer Tempa, A. Drummer, Errol de General, Brother James, Don GG, Bradley Walsh and Ali Thomas
