Picture the following: a fusion of French electro with a dreamy and ambient Nordic sound. The idea of a musical project combining layers of synthesizers with memorable pop-ish choruses came to life on an early spring day in Paris in 2019. The two members of what would become April On Mars had finally found some common ground in their admiration for artists such as Radiohead, Moby or Aphex Twin. Defined by a harmonic symbiosis between vocals, pulsing arpeggiators and guitar echoes, it doesn’t take long for the auditor to get a grasp of what April On Mars is.
