After traveling to and from London working with <a href="spotify:artist:0lWqGNcDng1iDJFfD4n24T" data-name="Nyquill">Nyquill</a>, the producer behind <a href="spotify:artist:01dSISvRQevxsNi2WXe0aw" data-name="AQVOL">AQVOL</a>’s 2016 underground breakout single, “<a href="spotify:track:7teuPAYeC32LOsUGzlttrV" data-name="Count">Count</a>,” one early 2017 night in Miami Beach, <a href="spotify:artist:01dSISvRQevxsNi2WXe0aw" data-name="AQVOL">AQVOL</a> was pulled over by the police. Unfortunately, narcotics were found in the car and <a href="spotify:artist:01dSISvRQevxsNi2WXe0aw" data-name="AQVOL">AQVOL</a> was immediately arrested, sentenced to one year of probation and told he was unable to leave the state of Florida until December 18, 2018. The unfortunate stipulation led to <a href="spotify:artist:01dSISvRQevxsNi2WXe0aw" data-name="AQVOL">AQVOL</a> continuing his work as a line cook to pay his legal and court fees, while writing, producing and mastering his craft during any spare moment he had.
The minute <a href="spotify:artist:01dSISvRQevxsNi2WXe0aw" data-name="AQVOL">AQVOL</a>'s probation ended he bought a ticket for a life-changing flight to Los Angeles. Since then, the passionate 21-year-old has been recording between Broward County, New York and Portland to complete his official debut EP releases and eventual album, slated for a 2020 release date.
