Formed from the tragedy of a friend’s passing, Forever Golden is a group of 6 artists from Detroit, MI. Its’ leader Jay Squared wanted to keep the idea and the dream of Golden alive when his friend and up-and-coming producer CaiahBeats suffered an untimely death in 2014. At that time, Jay sought out fellow rappers, producers and artists to come together and fully realize their ambitions. In late 2018, Forever Golden released their first body of work as a group, the <a href="spotify:album:3MUCYrznNDTuF4Qcu9ON7T" data-name="Gold">Gold</a> EP, a six song outing featuring vocals from 4 of the 6 members and production from <a href="spotify:artist:4gcZCI9WbadfqYW5jl2RL1" data-name="Whyandotte">Whyandotte</a> and Bert.
