Ardours is a alternative rock metal band with new wave influences with an 80s approach
Was founded by Mariangela Demurtas (Tristania) and Kris Laurent (Cadaveria) in 2015.
This union comes from a long time friendship and the decision to make music together comes from a wish they had since they were younger.
Despite the different backgrounds and the distance they always stayed in touch and shared about music.
Their first album "Last Place On Earth" was released in 2019 on Frontiers Records, the same for their last album "Anatomy Of A Moment" released in 2022, and the digital EP "Eu4iaep"
Both albums see the collaboration of Tristania s drummer Tarald Lie that also contributed magically to the lyrics..
"Ardours creates beautiful and haunting music that mixes 80s rock, progressive rock, and at times a metal sound with gothic atmospheres. Mariangela Demurtas’s vocals are unique sounding and full of energy, especially on songs like “Secret Worlds”. She sounds a little like Deborah Harry, singing in her nonchalant way, along with a good mix of Chrissy Hynde. Watch the accompanying video"
