Arey Hill

Arey Hill is from the small town of Bellefontaine, Mississippi. She cut her musical teeth in church, and was inspired by her mother who encouraged her to pursue music. But after she lost her mother to cancer when she was just sixteen, Arey saw her mom’s influence as even more than that. “There’s always hope and there’s always a purpose for the pain,” Arey says, and her music is a testament to that belief. Arey is the worship leader at Bridgeway Church in Starkville, Mississippi, and she leads retreats and conferences across the south and is joined by her husband, Jay, and their daughters, Olivia and Zoey. Arey and her family also have a passion for advocating for the Down syndrome community since their daughter Zoey rocks an extra chromosome.

After charting on the Christian/Gospel charts at #22 with her EP “Writing My Story,” Arey Hill released “Your Song,” in collaboration with Sunshine Pablo and reaching over 22,000 streams. Arey now returns to release “Let Your Power Rest on Me,” an anthem of hope based off of 2 Corinthians 12:9 that reminds listeners that we’re not promised an easy life, but we’re promised the Presence of Jesus will be with us and His power will be at work within us.
