Born and raised in São João de Meriti, since his pregnancy he was already connected to the sound waves of the drums that his mother played, still pregnant. His first instrument could not be different. He learned to play drums in the church at the age of 8, and at the age of 11 he began to study classical piano. It was then that he fell in love with Jazz improvisations.
His references range from gospel to indie music, with great influence on the American R&B scene. Ariel also produces through HL Produções, a company of which he is a founding partner, and has produced tracks for the main entertainment companies in the world.
