Raised in El Dorado,Arkansas, Arik Lamont nelson was in the 5th grade when he first started writing music after the passing of his mother. He grew to love rap at first, and built a career on that for a while, but was called by the lord to come back to his roots with contemporary folk Christian music that he is writing today. Although his testimony is rough, he makes music to bring people from brokenness to hope and faith in Jesus Christ!
