RAW - B Grew up in a broken home with no stability. Section 8 housing, food stamps, and government assistance kept him and his siblings afloat. His mom was a meth addict and his dad was a raging alcoholic. Surrounded by drugs, domestic violence, and poverty, RAW-B uses his art as an outlet for the pain and trauma he experienced in his childhood. The chip on his shoulder has never left. Testing the boundaries of his creative ability through different genres and sounds outside of HipHop, RAW - B’s goal as an artist is to become the best creative he can possibly be. He’s not competing with anyone else besides himself.

From being a Christian based artist to moving in a more bold and explicit direction in his art, he expresses a variety of emotions in his songs.
