Armageddon Turk, is a collaborative production team of Orkun Tunç & Zag Erlat.
In 2021, Armageddon Turk released their debut album “Anadolu Lo-fi”, which they cover Anatolian folk songs in “lo-fi hiphop” sounds.
By the mid-00s, Orkun started to work on productions and remixes for other artists with some of his co-producer colleagues under the name ARMAGEDDON TURK. They worked with Janet Jackson, Gorillaz, Kelis, Britney, Pet Shop Boys, Inna, Aronchupa, Teoman, Sezen Aksu, Nazan Öncel, Kayzer, Sultana, Chew Fu. By 2019, with the joint of Zag Erlat, they worked on Moby, Janet Jackson, Erasure, Mel C and Edis remixes. And released a single collab with new gen rapper Naskas.
In 2018, Armageddon Turk released a lremix album” for Gulden Karaböcek. “Kalbim Çarpar” remix from this album used for an ad campaign by Efes Pilsen. "Şaka Yaptım" remix was known for "ARADA" movie, which got the "Best Soundtrack" award by SIYAD.
Orkun started music by playing drums in Istanbul punk / HC bands (Turmoil, Crunch, Rashit). Released albums/EPs with his bands and played big festivals with bands like; The Cure, Massive Attack, Marilyn Manson, Echo and the Bunnymen, Dead Kennedys and etc.
Zag Erlat(aka Zagor), born and raised in Istanbul, based in London music producer, also known as for his soulful, yet cinematic and energetic hip-hop & trap music. He has been collaborated with British rapper Sway, KSI, British Dancehall & Rap artist Stefflon Don, Shaqdi, Nova Norda and many more artists.
