Mert Pekduraner, a composer, guitarist, based in both Amsterdam and Istanbul, began his musical journey in Adana, Turkey. His time in Adana exposed him to the authentic and traditional sounds of Anatolia, which greatly influenced his composition ideas and arrangement techniques.
In June 2020, Pekduraner was commissioned to compose an original piece for the 17th Venice Biennale. His composition, titled "Kıyı (Side by Side - Venice Biennale Main Theme)," was exhibited at the Arsenale Pavilion alongside an art installation.
In 2021, Pekduraner independently released his debut album, "Geriye Ne Kaldı?”, which established his core audience. A year later, in July 2022, he released his second studio album, "DIALOGUES IN THE DARK”.
Pekduraner has performed and participated in various projects across Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, showcasing his talents as a musician, composer, and artist. He continues to engage in diverse musical endeavors and performances.
