Arre! Arre!, a surfy riot grrrl explosion that took Scandinavia by storm. The band was formed in 2014 and released their debut album A.T.T.A.C.K. in 2015. The album was nominated for the prestigious P3 Guld Award for best rock album of 2015 and won the Award for independent punk album of the year at the Manifest Awards. During their years of being they have played at Roskilde Festival, Way Out West and with bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:5sdxGvwxI1TkTA6Pu2jnTb" data-name="Refused">Refused</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7nFTfkZmPlVL33Pclpf3aG" data-name="Chain and The Gang">Chain and The Gang</a> (Ian Svenonoius), <a href="spotify:artist:3g2slv6elrXxGnXqy7Q2ap" data-name="Les Big Byrd">Les Big Byrd</a> (Teddybears STHLM) and The Damned. They been invited to play at SXSW, Austin, Texas three years in a row but shit happened with pandemic and all.
Their second album "<a href="spotify:album:6zMSXyOUNOhkZ77o9kW6Yv" data-name="Tell Me All About Them">Tell Me All About Them</a>" won Rock/Metal of the year at Swedish National Radio Awards P3 Guld 2020. And followed up with a wild EP about sex called "<a href="spotify:album:22fVTu0Sl8YGiNOm7GuyMu" data-name="Heavy Breathing EP">Heavy Breathing EP</a>" released in august 2020.
The bands biggest inspiration is the 90's Riot Grrrl scene with a straight forward punk attitude.
During the years the bands repertoar have become wider and wider and they've found inspiration in post-punk, 60's ballads, James Brown & Spice Girls.
Unique for their upcoming third album is the biker theme and the women who drive them.
They made an original soundtrack for a documentary about a female biker gang in Sweden.
Arre! Arre! is signed by the record label PNKSLM, a record label based in Stockholm but with its roots in London. The record label have signed such bands as Les Big Byrd, ShitKid, Sudakistan, Black Mekon, HOLY and so on.
