Arsenic Addiction is Blackened Gothic Metal from Salt Lake City, UT formed in 2006. Arsenic Addiction initially started as a band inspired by the Victorian Era and bands who had their own characters and lore, hence the name 'Arsenic Addiction'. After touring the Western US the band decided to take a break from live shows and focus strictly on writing in 2012. It took 5 years to write their new and most current album 'XIX' (2019), and within those 5 years the band redefined their image and sound. Focusing more on witchcraft, ritual, and death, taking more influence from folk, black, and death metal.
