Art Fact played their own kind of synth pop, but always sad and dark. Always with a nice melody. This Swedish synth pop act of the 80's and 90's has been re-discovered in the present, with their retro wave sound and youthful naïveté. Founded by Måns Jonasson, Anders Ljung, Olle Söderström and Jonas Embring in Stockholm, Sweden. The band used cheap 80s synth workstations such as Roland D-20 and Yamaha V50 to create a minimalistic sound. Through the melancholy and sadness reflected in the lyrics as well as their sound, the teenage angst as a universal feeling is very real.
