“That’s what life is at my age: you wanna always dream. It’s hard for me to do something and not get excited about it.”

Meet Art Morris. His growing catalog keeps taking him to new heights: top-ten radio chart placements, charming collaborations with classic teen pop star Tiffany, seasoned Dutch vocalist Laura Fygi, and Billboard-topping saxophonist Mindi Abair, exclusive song premieres by Jazziz Magazine, and a performance of “O Sole Mio” at an Andrea Bocelli charity event in Tuscany.

However, behind his voice is a story unlike any others you’ve heard. Art’s debut EP landed in late 2020 while he was 77 years old and has led to over 4 million streams to date.

Art has a lifetime of creating his own success behind him, including building his massive law firm from nothing. However, a timeline of tragedy and struggle aligns with that: losing his wife to breast cancer, his own heart bypass surgery, and a headline-making theft carried out by a deceitful business partner. One constant throughout all of this for Art was singing. Although Art has been based out of Atlanta, GA for the past 50 years, his Brooklyn roots still shine through as he laughs and says, “I just absolutely love to sing. I don’t care about the other stuff- let’s put it this way, I want people to like it, but I love to sing for me.”
