East London representative Asco began his career as part of rap collective ‘Mashtown’, who featured on multiple Tim Westwood freestyles which garnered praise from fans as well as fellow artists. Since then he has gone on to build a strong following of his own and has carved out a lane for himself as the highly flamboyant and authentic street rapper.
His aim throughout his career has always been to paint pictures of life experiences, good or bad, and bring them to life via his music.
2018 was a strong year for Asco, dropping his debut mixtape ‘Better Late Than Never’ and seeing some of his most talked about and anticipated videos rack up the views on YouTube. Songs such as ‘So Litt’, ‘Cheque’ with Loski and ‘Playing For Keeps’ with Fredo saw him going from strength to strength. Not to mention the continuation of fan favourite, the ‘Straight Drop’ series! It’s safe to say Asco and his Mulli Gang imprint are on the rise, with 2019 looking to be an even bigger and better year for him.
