Ashabah is a mysterious Black Metal supergroup consisting of musicians from all over the world. Led by US-based Pariah, the main songwriter and lyricist; the group also features Lelahell on vocals (Algeria), Blight on guitar (Chile) and Maikon sitting behind the drum kit all the way from Brazil.
Taking notes from seminal Finnish black metal bands such as Noenum and Horna, Ashabah has developed a sonic approach that defies the scene’s typical conventions, expertly combining black metal’s raw, aggressive, and atmospheric essence with catchy, rhythmic, 80's heavy metal inspired guitar riffs.
While Ashabah stays true to the staples of classic black metal, it wouldn’t be fair to call them just another black metal artist. Their music is bound to appeal to fans of thrash, melodic death metal, hardcore and various other styles, on the grounds of the immense versatility, variety, and mass appeal that makes them quite different from other black metal artists in the scene.
