Led by composer and songwriter David Besnier, who started his musical journey in the late 90’s and played in various Rock / Metal local bands as a singer, guitar and bass player, Ashes of Saint Laurent is a one-man project featuring various artists (such as “cYAN” on some guitar and bass parts), claiming its affiliation with grunge, alternative rock, with hints of extreme Metal. The 1st album ever released in February 1st 2023, is a 9 tracks LP titled “Obvoluta”, and draws a good representation of Ashes of Saint Laurent’s musical identity: easy listening alternative rock songs, featuring powerful guitars and a heated voice that will certainly remind grunge and stoner standards. Stay tuned for there is more to come…
