Lincoln, Nebraska native Ashton “AC” Combs has had a passion for music from before he could walk. From the time Combs was born, he grew up in the church influenced by both of his parents’ love for soul music from the late ’60s and early 70’s. Combs got his first musical start by playing the drums and piano. At the age of 10, He started writing his own music and performing anywhere there was a mic. He landed a spot to perform on BET 106 and Park, where the world finally got to see Ashton’s talent. In 2011, Combs scored the opportunity to work with Trey Songz on “ Don't Love Me” ft Lil Wayne. After that, he had confidence to take his career full speed and move to Atlanta.
Over the past couple of years, Combs has acquired a few accolades under his belt including writing “Tek Weh Yuh Heart” for International artist Sean Paul and Tory Lanez and “Don’t Go” for R&B star, Kevin Ross. His work has been featured on 6 Billboard Charts. Combs has also worked with artists such as Qauvo from the Migos, Gucci Mane, and Eric Bellinger, just to name a few.
On September 30th AC dropped his debut album “The Other Side” through his label “Inspire Music Group.” The album hit #1 on iTunes R/B Soul charts it’s first week of releasing. AC has done so much in a short amount of time and he continues to build his music legacy. Ashton “AC” Combs is just getting started and will continue to rise in this industry.
