Áskell (formerly known as Housekell) has been an active member of the Reykjavik House scene for quite some time now. He quickly became a stand out DJ among his peers for playing out raw, underground house music. Áskell studied classical music literacy at the Iceland Academy of the Arts while filling dance floors at night. This mixture shaped his interesting, musical and deep end- result best realised in his own productions.
