Astray is a concept created by the drummer (Casper Inered) and the singer/guitarist (Isak Ruuth) in early 2024.
Soon after, Liam Svarvar joined on bass. A player who performs as much as he talks.
This turned the project into a full - fledged band trying to revive a dying music genre with their modern take on early german Heavy Metal.
Produced by Jonas Arnberg, their debut singel ”Astray” marks a new beginning for the young Swedish metal scene, hopefully being well received by the people out there. Blending beautiful melodies with raw power, the song delivers captivating, poetic lyrics about being lost and not knowing which way to go.
