EBIRAH was formed in late 2023 by drummer Sebastian 'Seb' Zulauf and guitarist Tanner Trachsel. After hearing vocalist Jack McGrath singing at a mutual friends wedding, he was asked to join the group. Songwriting began in mid-2024 in Seb and Tanners forever practice spot, Sebs mothers basement. Which was lovingly dubbed 'Sebs Moms Jam Hole' around this time. Using a recording setup cobbled together from second hand equipment, EBIRAH began recording their first EP in their practice space, only to have their original bass player leave the group (just as the music was ready to be released) in April 2025. EBIRAH added long time friend Christian Jensen to the group as bass player and began re-recording, releasing the first single 'Thousand Blades' in December of 2025. EBIRAH combines hard hitting drums, heavy guitars, prominent bass riffs and raw vocals to create a throwback to groove metal and metalcore bands of the late 2000s.
