Asuquomo is a multi-award winning creative individual and an International Songwriter. He maintains an unmistakable sound and unique dexterity for storytelling through a Pan-African narrative as an Afro-Fusion artist.

Asuquomo’s sound is evolving as a result of left-of-center afrofusion releases, which once set on stage and in front of an audience, becomes an intense and renewed energy of Afro-punk.

His high-energy performances have landed him on high profile stages with international giants like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Falzthebahdguy, also opening for acts like, Omah Lay, Ckay, Pretty Boy D-O, Belly, Lido Pimienta, Cadence Weapon, Kimmortal, Shay Lia, Zaki Ibrahim.

He was nominated and won the 2020 Emerging Artist Award by Ottawa Arts council and RBC and has also performed various music festivals; CityFolk’s Marvest, Arboretum Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest(3x), CanadianMusicWeek, LongWinter Toronto/Paris, Afro-Fest Ottawa, as well as Selling out his first Pop Montreal show in 2021.
