Kofi Syck

Born in Accra on July 22nd 1994, Gideon Kofi Tawiah Junior,popularly known as Kofi Syck(Sick) is Ghanaian Hip Hop& Afrobeat rapper,singer,songwriter & producer. His name SYCK is an acronym for “Someday You’ll Crown Kings “ hence the stage name “Kofi Syck”. Growing up as a kid ,he was always exposed to music because his dad was a musician who played the guitar and the piano in the church.His dad started teaching him the piano at an early age of 5 years old.As of 2009 when he was completing Junior high school, he started recording demos and by the time he was in his first year in senior high school, he had already recorded over 5 demos and had started growing his skill in music recording and sound engineering.Out of 4 singles he has released from 2019 till date, 3 of the songs which are “Eno Be Gidigidi”,”Anything” and “June 4th” were all produced by him except for “Calling” which was produced by “Young Og beatz “. His music is mostly inspired his the day to day life & feelings of what other people go through also .He likes to put himself in the shoes of other people so he can become a voice of what they’re experiencing regardless of which part of the globe they come from. He plans to take African music to higher heights to bridge the gap between Africa and the rest of the world ,connecting us together as one using my mesmerizing lyrics and captivating melodies.
