At Face Value

Formed in 2012 in Kingsville, MD, <a href="spotify:artist:7abpqWb9gal9v0XT6692HU" data-name="At Face Value">At Face Value</a> manage to create their own unique and edgy pop punk / alternative rock sound with influences from bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:46gyXjRIvN1NL1eCB8GBxo" data-name="All Time Low">All Time Low</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6FBDaR13swtiWwGhX1WQsP" data-name="blink-182">blink-182</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3zxKH0qp3nBCuPZCZT5Vaf" data-name="Yellowcard">Yellowcard</a>. Facing the all-too-familiar trials and tribulations of growing up (loss of loved ones, break-ups, etc.), their writing style and catchy - yet refreshing - chord progressions, melodies and lyrics help put a positive spin on things.

Formed by Alec Myers (frontman) and Jeremiah Douglas (drums) and with a few line-up changes under their belts already, brothers Parker Ross &amp; Grayson Ross complete the current five-piece, entering the fray and matching their unique pop-rock and effect driven sound with the fundamental raw punk tendencies Alec and Jeremiah have always gravitated towards.
The band&#39;s debut release (<a href="spotify:album:2avakO32ehlC1tqG43J2p3" data-name="Growing up Young">Growing up Young</a>) struck a chord with fans throughout Baltimore and beyond. The band followed with single <a href="spotify:album:6iAWRsdaGdpd1DM7e8EwNQ" data-name="Thick as Thieves">Thick as Thieves</a> (produced by Paul Leavitt: <a href="spotify:artist:46gyXjRIvN1NL1eCB8GBxo" data-name="All Time Low">All Time Low</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:55VydwMyCuGcavwPuhutPL" data-name="The Used">The Used</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3zxKH0qp3nBCuPZCZT5Vaf" data-name="Yellowcard">Yellowcard</a>) and leaves no doubt that these guys have plenty to offer the alternative scene again and again. The band&#39;s third studio release was recorded with Seth Henderson (<a href="spotify:artist:5ABfpj7Z00wfPiv2uW4MFm" data-name="Knuckle Puck">Knuckle Puck</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6dEtLwgmSI0hmfwTSjy8cw" data-name="Real Friends">Real Friends</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0NbQe5CNgh4YApOCDuHSjb" data-name="The Devil Wears Prada">The Devil Wears Prada</a>) with rave reviews meeting <a href="spotify:album:3b0sQsoXzMiCfiJuz0vUWp" data-name="Ivy and Echo">Ivy and Echo</a> upon release in 2018. At Face Value have gone onto feature across a number of college radio stations in their native USA.
