ATMA is an alternative rock ambient band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia consisting of three members. Founded by Rafiq (Lead Guitar) as a cover band, ATMA began their musical journey in 2020 during the pandemic era. Adding Nazrin Saleh as their vocalist, they started writing songs virtually and formed their ideas during lockdown studio sessions. In 2022, Haziq Fikri (Bass) joins as a permanent addition, with steady pulse and rhythm he provides the sonic link between the band. While having differences in music taste, the sounds / songs that they wrote strucked differently in a unique way, reflected beautifully during their songwriting process.
