With over 2 million streams and counting, this Montreal-based rock band continues to put in the hard work necessary to hone their craft .
"As an independent/unsigned band in 2023, building everything from the ground up is a huge and sometimes overwhelming task. It can often be incredibly stressful but it's also rewarding when you see it all take shape", says the group's frontman Chris Starr, who started the project as a solo act back in 2012.
Since then, the band has released three albums Heartless EP (2014), Through The Storm EP (2017), and Blackburn EP (2021), and has had many lineup changes, but the band's current formation consisting of Shawn Oliver (bass), Dan Mayrand (drums), and Martin Laferriere (lead guitar), is what Chris says to be "the winning combination", as they have been friends for the better part of the last 20 years.
Atoms to Ashes recently released a new single called "Heartless Symphonic", showing the band's versatility to reimagine their first single in a different light.
