Employing a lethal blend of heavy metal, post-grunge, and modern rock, Message from Sylvia was founded in 2016 by siblings Dane, Isaac, and Zachary Lopez-Smith after the amicable dissolution of their prior incarnation, <a href="spotify:artist:2BPfapgienWdkFOjDRoaeq">First Decree</a>. The active rock unit quickly became a four-piece with the addition of Echolove and <a href="spotify:artist:5329TRgM92Mrj1vSAGobsO">DoryDrive</a> vocalist Matthew Nevitt, and in August 2016, the group issued their official debut single "Heart of War."
