Audio Drones are a high-energy pop-punk-influenced band who have been a staple of the North Wales and North West England live music scenes since early 2021.
With infectious fan-favourite original tracks such as “The Beacon”, “Dizzy”, “Hey There!”, “Technicolour”, “King Of The World” and “Nothing In The World Like You”, complimented with their own unique covers of popular songs; from a stomping full-band rendition of Green Day’s acoustic ballad “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)”, to a fast and punky take of “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” from Disney’s The Lion King, Audio Drones have proven themselves to be a highlight of any events lineup.
The trio, made up of lead singer and guitarist Alan Jaggs, bassist Steve Batty and drummer Alex Bargh, frequently play venues in and around Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Llangollen, Llandudno. Notable festival appearances include CarFest North & South, Liverpool Rock n Roll Marathon, Rock the Castle, Wrexham Feast, Mold Food & Drink Festival and Llangollen Fringe Festival.
After spending 2021 finding their sound by writing music and playing gigs, 2022 saw the band release two full-length albums of original material with their debut “Wasted Seasons”, and follow-up “Let The World Explode”. 2023 was another year of countless live shows and almost monthly single releases. Their third album “23”, which was released in 2024, was a collection of all the songs released the year before.
