Audrey’s fondness of music and arts can be traced back to her childhood, where music and dancing was purely and seamlessly fused into her younger years. This unfiltered, genuine appreciation of the craft was what propelled her career, and what still remains woven into all her outputs until today, from her early years of Youtube covers, the much-loved tracks of pop vocal group GAC (Gamaliél Audrey Cantika), to her solo endeavours.
Following the groups’ decade-spanning success, Audrey now finds herself in a process of self-discovery, where she is challenged to reach beyond her comfort zone and redefine what it means to dream, in her own terms. Looking inward and tapping into her stripped-back identity, likes and dislikes, she projected it all into the making of her latest project ‘LoveLock’ (2021). The EP generously packs the ultimate girl next door vibe, catchy hooks, and luscious harmonies into a sweet portrayal of a young woman in love.
