Born and raised in Newport News, VA, Austin Lanier has seen and survived more than most would expect. But he has used his experiences as a platform to put good energy back into the world and that is what makes him one of a kind. Getting into music at a young age and getting inspiration from his dad, Austin found himself beatboxing and finding different ways to create sounds every chance he got. Tapping into hip-hop at the age of 18, he realized that it was an amazing way to express himself. Austin also learned that someone else’s music could help others get through tough times.
Fast forward to 2015, Austin moved to San Marcos, TX and released his first mixtape, From Schemin to Dreamin. He quickly realized his ability to create music that not only he loved but others did as well so he made the move to Houston. Once in Houston, Austin signed to Much Luvv Records in 2017 and released his debut album, Austin Lanier. All the love that Austin received from his debut album showed him that music was more than just a career in the making, it was his calling.
Since then, Austin has done motivational speaking all over the world, continued to create music that motivates others and focused on what is next to come.
