A country singer and songwriter, Austin Webb was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and he grew up listening to classic sides of country, Motown, rock, and R&B. He started writing poetry at the age of nine, and knew he wanted to be a writer of some sort, all of which was solved when he got a guitar at the age of 16, and his world became all about writing songs. He moved to Atlanta and began gigging up and down the coast, releasing a couple of early independent albums, Written Photography in 2007 and Holy Smoke in 2010. After winning a songwriting contest in Greenville, Webb decided to take his shot at Nashville, and moved there in 2011. After a demo of Webb's songs made it into the hands of producer Byron Gallimore, he was offered a publishing and recording contract with Gallimore and <a href="spotify:artist:5aQvDo0BWSRvxoGUtssfae">Jim Wilkes</a>' <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Streamsound+Records%22">Streamsound Records</a>, who promptly put him in the studio. A debut single, "It's All Good," was released at the end of the year in 2012. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
