Danish metal act Avarice returns with their second full-length album, Perpetual Ruin, released through
Mighty Music. Across ten crushing tracks, the band explores humanity’s endless cycle of rise, failure and
collapse.

Blending classic death and thrash metal with elements of hardcore and melodic death metal, Avarice
delivers a sound that is both brutal and dynamic. Razor-sharp riffs, crushing rhythms and relentless
intensity drive the music forward, while the lyrics draw on themes of antiquity, morality, punishment and
the darker impulses of human nature.

Perpetual Ruin follows the band’s self-titled debut album, Avarice (2023), which marked a defining step
forward and received strong acclaim from both fans and critics. The album established Avarice as a
renewed force on the Danish metal scene and proved that their comeback was far more than a brief
return.

Originally formed in 2006, Avarice quickly built a reputation through energetic live shows and festival
appearances alongside legendary international metal acts and leading Danish bands. After a 13-year
hiatus, the band returned in 2021 with the EP Reborn in Blood, reigniting the project with renewed focus
and a heavier, more determined vision. Now, with Perpetual Ruin, Avarice pushes their sound further
than ever. And on stage, the band proves why their music is meant to be experienced live: raw, aggressive
and impossible to ignore
