Avery is a singer-songwriter originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Her debut single and video, "Love Me or Let Me Go," was released on her YouTube Account in 2010 and reached over 1 million views in less than 3 months of its release. As a result, Avery’s fanbase grew to over 300K on YouTube, and she became one of the youngest artists to be signed by Universal Motown Records at 15 years old (2010). At 17, Universal Motown Records shut down, and Avery was signed to Island Def Jam in 2012. Shortly after that, Avery was shelved and her debut album (in which she collaborated with writers and producers such as The Matrix, Lauren Christy, Stargate, Ester Dean, Claude Kelly, Matt Squire, Dr. Luke) never came out. Currently, Avery resides in California and is still making music independently.
