Avie Sheck

Avie Sheck is an artist/producer born in the Himalayas. He comes from a long line of classical Indian Musicians - his mother, Uma, being the one to pass on the gift of music. Recently, he and his mom made waves on the internet amassing millions of plays and cosigns by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7tYKF4w9nC0nq9CsPZTHyP" data-name="SZA">SZA</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5eAWCfyUhZtHHtBdNk56l1" data-name="System Of A Down">System Of A Down</a> for their Classical Indian &amp; American Pop fusions.

Because of his father’s work he spent over a decade and a half of his childhood in India, Japan and Thailand before moving to America which substantially impacted his perspective on art. His influences span from Michael Jackson, Coldplay, and Linkin Park to
Gulam Ali and Miki Matsubara to name a few. Growing up he sang classical music with mom, played in Rock bands, RnB groups, large Choirs, and Barber Shop Quartets.

Avie is no stranger to collaboration and has had previous features on Spotify Editorial playlists such as <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXdc0DUqaW3MZ" data-name="Soultronic">Soultronic</a> for his vibrant and uplifting collaborative tracks with <a href="spotify:artist:1lpYFtlybuldYAw2IyXjyI" data-name="Sangarang">Sangarang</a>- &#39;<a href="spotify:track:4P0VG5m87k1IhR3t7fWdvv" data-name="Better Off">Better Off</a>&#39; and &#39;<a href="spotify:track:3yoIwz3fT2BHzw7MIL9d4T" data-name="No Room for Us">No Room for Us</a>&#39;. He also worked with Grammy nominated &#43; Britt Award winning UK producer <a href="spotify:artist:18UZcsltQQouqo6wfutLii" data-name="Boom Dice">Boom Dice</a> featuring Drake&#39;s cowriter <a href="spotify:artist:0bc6lB7BSs5N1W2Woi08W6" data-name="Lil Esso">Lil Esso</a> on their single, &#39;Show Me More&#39;. Currently, he is writing and collaborating on several tracks for multi-platinum artist, <a href="spotify:artist:2qdONMCoDngQk0eV4Avs1i" data-name="Natalie La Rose">Natalie La Rose</a>&#39;s EP.

Today, Avie creates from Los Angeles, CA, as a full time artist, songwriter, and producer. He is excited to release more fusion with his mom as they blend sounds from the East and West.
