Axxios

Axxios. Derived from the Greek word meaning “worthy of”, these up-and-coming thrashers hail from Northwest Indiana. The five piece band is comprised of Dan Baggarly (vocals), Dave Matthews (Lead Guitar), TJ Fernandez (Rhythm Guitar), Alex “Chucho” Barrios (Bass), and Aaron Grove (Drums).

Axxios sets themselves apart by filtering the driving rhythms of power metal through the dark aspects of black metal, fueled with the adrenaline of thrash, and the intensity of death metal. With this melting pot of extreme music, they have captivated the attention of both metalheads and non-metal listeners alike. After the drop of their single in 2015, “Dead Wings of Destiny,” Axxios recorded and released their 2016 EP, “The Curse of Anathemia.” Thereafter, they went on to tour much of the midwest and east coast. In 2017, Axxios starred on an episode of the famed Chicago music television presence, JBTV. Axxios has just released their debut album “Beneath the Blood Red Sky” June 22nd, 2019.
