A.Y.A is a Japan-born, London-based artist. She’s known for her ability to cross genres and blend diverse musical styles. A.Y.A's 2020 album *Mercury Retrograde* drew from alternative R&B and hip-hop, while the following year’s *Uncured* skillfully fused R&B with electronica. Then she explored dance music with the car-racing-themed ep "Out of the Race", in 2022, she delivered a hyperpop sound with the single "Sugar." Her ever-evolving and experimental approach to music continues to offer listeners fresh surprises.

A.Y.A’s talent extends beyond music, reflecting in the visual production she manages herself. Each project’s visuals transform, deeply immersing into the world of the work.

Additionally, A.Y.A hosted the radio show *WREP* for over 3 years, where she brings out a charming personality and humor that contrasts with her musical style. In 2021, she began DJing, using her deep musical knowledge to quickly expand her career. She went on to host and produce Pioneer DJ Japan's interview show *WHY WE PLAY*.

In 2023, she released the single "TYO," inspired by Tokyo's club scene, which topped the iTunes House Chart. Riding on this momentum, A.Y.A relocated to London in 2023 to further her musical exploration.
